GETPOST.ID, Las Vegas – Honda dan Acura menampilkan berbagai model sporty di SEMA 2024 di Las Vegas, Amerika Serikat. Selain itu, Honda mengumumkan langkah baru, mendirikan lini bisnis di bawah Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US).
Lini yang akan memproduksi suku cadang performa khusus untuk konsumen. Sebelumnya selama tiga dekade, HRC US fokus pada dunia balap di Amerika Utara.
Secara total, Honda dan Acura menghadirkan sembilan mobil di SEMA 2024, termasuk model SUV Honda Pilot dalam versi HRC Prototype yang tampil perdana. Honda bersama HRC US akan memproduksi suku cadang khusus untuk meningkatkan performa SUV Honda Pilot, khususnya kemampuan berkendara di trek off-road.
Acura turut menampilkan dua mobil sports premium: Acura Integra Type S HRC Prototype dan Acura Integra Type S DE5 Race Car.
Untuk memperkuat kesan sporty, Honda dan Acura juga menghadirkan berbagai mobil balap di SEMA 2024, seperti Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer, HPC Honda Civic Type R Pace Car, Honda Ridgeline Baja Race, Acura ARX-06, dan Honda IndyCar.
Sebagai perayaan 60 tahun Honda di ajang Formula 1, booth Honda juga memamerkan mobil balap Formula 1 dari tim Oracle Red Bull Racing, RB20, yang dilengkapi powertrain turbo hybrid dari HRC, yaitu Honda RBPT.
“HRC US telah mencatat kemenangan selama tiga dekade, dan kami bersemangat bawa pengalaman ini kepada penggemar Honda dan Acura yang ingin merasakan performa lebih tinggi,” ujar Jon Ikeda, Wakil Presiden Senior HRC AS, dalam rilisnya.
Menurutnya, setiap suku cadang yang ditawarkan akan memenuhi standar ketat untuk meningkatkan performa kendaraan dan pengalaman berkendara.
SEMA 2024 telah berlangsung pada 5 – 8 November di Las Vegas Convention Center, Amerika Serikat. Booth Honda dan Acura terletak di Central Hall di booth nomor 24789.
