GETPOST.ID, Jakarta- Yayasan Kanker Indonesia (YKI) pada 9-11 September 2024 kembali melaksanakan pelayanan sosial dengan memberikan pelatihan bersertifikat deteksi dini kanker serviks melalui pemeriksaan IVA pada 35 tenaga kesehatan di Jakarta.
Kanker serviks menempati urutan ketiga dengan 36.964 kejadian kanker baru pada wanita Indonesia pada tahun 2022, dengan jumlah kematian sebesar 20.708 kasus. Berdasarkan data dari Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia (2021), disebutkan bahwa angka kejadian kanker di Indonesia berada pada urutan ke 8 di Asia Tenggara, sedangkan di Asia urutan ke 23. Angka kejadian kanker leher rahim/serviks di Indonesia sebesar 23,4 per 100.000 penduduk dengan rata-rata kematian 13,9 per 100.000 penduduk.
Sekitar 70 persen penderita kanker datang ke sarana pelayanan kesehatan sudah pada stadium lanjut. Di sisi lain perilaku masyarakat untuk menjalankan pola hidup sehat juga masih kurang dan perlu ditingkatkan. Dampaknya adalah angka kematian karena kanker semakin tinggi. Padahal kanker serviks bisa diobati bila ditemukan pada stadium dini dan diobati dengan cepat dan tepat.
Ketua Umum Yayasan Kanker Indonesia, Prof. DR. dr. Aru Wisaksono Sudoyo, SpPD-KHOM, FINASIM, FACP, mengutarakan, “Deteksi kanker serviks harus terus digalakkan, dan Yayasan Kanker Indonesia sangat senang dalam memberikan pelatihan deteksi dini kanker serviks terhadap 35 praktisi kesehatan, dengan metoda pemeriksaan Inspeksi visual dengan asam asetat atau dikenal dengan IVA, sebuah langkah strategis dalam merealisasikan pengurangan kejadian kanker serviks.”
IVA adalah tes skrining yang dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa alat dan mata telanjang. Selama pemeriksaan ini, praktisi kesehatan terkait akan mengoleskan pengenceran cuka putih atau asam asetat ke leher rahim untuk mendeteksi adanya kelainan pada area tersebut, dimana sel abnormal akan berubah menjadi putih ketika terkena cuka. “Skrining dengan tes IVA dapat dilakukan dengan cara sekali datang, dan bila didapatkan temuan IVA positif, tahapan selanjutnya dapat dilakukan pengobatan sederhana dengan krioterapi oleh tenaga medis yang sudah terlatih,” jelas Prof. Aru Sudoyo.
Laporan hasil konsultasi WHO menyebutkan bahwa IVA dapat mendeteksi lesi tingkat pra kanker dengan sensitifitas sekitar 66-69 % dan spesifitas sekitar 64-98%.
Dalam penyelenggaraan pelatihan ini, YKI bekerjasama dengan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia dimana para peserta yang terdiri atas sejumlah Dokter Umum dan Bidan mendapatkan sertifikat berakreditasi B Kemenkes RI dan 15 Satuan Kredit Profesi (SKP).
YKI menggandeng PT Solusi Transformasi Persada yang bergerak dalam pelatihan peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat, serta melibatkan Female Cancer Programme Jakarta dan Ikatan Bidan Indonesia.
Ketua Panitia Pelatihan Deteksi Dini Kanker Serviks, dr. Vinka Imelda dari Yayasan Kanker Indonesia mengungkapkan pada hari pertama, peserta mendapatkan materi pembelajaran teori untuk mendukung pelaksanaan skrining/ deteksi dini dengan metode tes IVA, tes DNA HPV, dan papsmear. Pada hari kedua, dilaksanakan dry workshop, meliputi tes IVA-DoIVA-TeleDoIVA, CD IVA interaktif, pengambilan sampel untuk tes DNA HPV dan papsmear, serta konseling dan melakukan terapi krio, cold coagulation serta TCA. Dan pada hari ketiga, peserta menerapkan pemeriksanaan langsung terhadap pasien berbekal materi pembelajaran.
“Pemeriksaan langsung pada hari ketiga dilaksanakan pada 100 perempuan dengan rentang usia 25 – 65 tahun di Rusun Benhil 2, Tanah Abang, Jakarta Pusat, dan praktisi kesehatan yang mengikuti pelatihan deteksi dini kanker serviks dapat secara langsung menerapkan ilmu dan pengalaman yang diperoleh, sekaligus meningkatkan cakupan pelayanan IVA untuk skrining kanker serviks terutama di DKI Jakarta,” jelas dr. Vinka Imelda.
Setelah seluruh peserta mendapatkan kesempatan periksa, dilanjutkan dengan diskusi kasus temuan-temuan dibawah bimbingan Prof. DR. dr. Laila Nuranna, Sp.OG(K), Onk., dari Bidang Pendidikan dan Penyuluhan Yayasan Kanker Indonesia.
“Apabila hasil pemeriksaan IVA positif dan termasuk kategori peradangan, maka pasien akan disarankan untuk menjalani krioterapi dimana daerah mulut rahim dibekukan dengan alat khusus dengan tujuan mencegah perkembangan sel menjadi ganas,” ujar dr. Vinka Imelda.
