GETPOST.ID, Jakarta – Komunitas otomotif AvanzaXenia Indonesia Club (AXIC) memberikan donasi berupa 250 paket sembako kepada para tenaga kesehatan yang berdiri di garis depan melawan pandemi Covid-19. Donasi tersebut diberikan langsung secara bersamaan di 17 lokasi berbeda pada Sabtu (17/7).
Ketua Umum AXIC Juniadhi Caniago mengatakan pemberian donasi ini dilakukan untuk merayakan ulang tahun komunitas ini yang ke-17 dengan mengusung tema #Integr17year (baca: tahun integritas). Tema ini bermakna bahwa AXIC mampu bersatu dan solid hingga 17 tahun dalam komunitas otomotif nasional dan memberikan kontribusi positif pada Indonesia khususnya di masa pandemi ini.
Total ada 250 paket sembako yang disumbangkan oleh 17 chapter dan cabang AXIC di seluruh Indonesia, seperti Medan, Batam, Palembang, Lampung, Cirebon, Solo, Jepara, Semarang, Kediri, Lamongan, Situbondo, dan Jayapura. Pembagian sembako juga dibagikan di kawasan Jabodetabek. Setiap chapter dan cabang yang terlibat turut membagikan paket sembako kepada tenaga kesehatan di fasilitas kesehatan seperti rumah sakit dan puskesmas, termasuk para sopir ambulan dan tukang/penggali kubur di pemakaman khusus korban Covid-19.
“Ide donasi paket sembako ini berangkat dari ‘Semangat 50 Tahun Toyota’ dan juga sebagai apresiasi AXIC di ulang tahun emas Toyota Indonesia,” ujar Juniadhi sambil menjelaskan bahwa ulang tahun ke-17 AXIC terjadi pada 3 April 2021.
Saat ini jumlah anggota AXIC sekitar 6.500 ID di seluruh Indonesia. AXIC juga menjadi anggota Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) DKI Jakarta dan Bali. Dalam aktivitasnya, AXIC terbukti memiliki jejak gemilang di kalangan komunitas otomotif, yakni pemegang Rekor MURI No 1.595 dan No 2.043 untuk rekor ‘Konvoi Kendaraan Sebentuk dan Sejenis Terpanjang’ dan ‘Uji Emisi Kendaraan Sejenis Toyota Avanza dan Daihatsu Xenia dengan Peserta Terbanyak’.
