Karena lebih mudah dikendarai tanpa menginjak pedal kopling.
Saking lebih mudah dioperasikan, mobil ini sering digunakan untuk sehari-hari. Sayangnya, kita lebih suka menggunakannya, alih-alih merawatnya. Padahal perawatan ini penting supaya kita terhindar dari masalah di jalan, seperti mogok.

Sigit Wahyu Anggoro, Division Head After Sales & Biz Solution CARfix Indonesia, menjelaskan mobil LCGC transmisi otomatis memang disukai konsumen mobil, karena cenderung bersifat worry free dalam penggunaannya. Misalnya, transmisi non-manual alias otomatis dan akinya free maintenance.
“Sering terjadi pengguna lupa perawatan kendaraannya, padahal mobil transmisi otomatasi ini dipakai harian yang banyak menguras kinerja komponen rem,” ujar Sigit pada Jumat 9 September 2020.
CARfix adalah jaringan bengkel modern yang menerima servis atau merawat mobil transmisi otomotis dari berbagai merek termasuk LCGC.
Komponen Rem dan Aki
Berdasarkan data bengkel CARfix, rata-rata pengguna mobil transmisi otomatis lupa untuk merawat komponen rem dan aki. Padahal dua komponen ini strategis untuk mendukung performa transmisi otomatis.
Sigit mencatat ada kebiasaan buruk di konsumen otomotif Indonesia, yakni mobil yang baru dihidupkan langsung dijalankan, sehingga berpotensi membuat akinya drop lebih besar, akibat kehilangan daya, meski umur pemakaiannya terbilang baru.
Untuk kebiasaan buruk ini, saran Sigit, pengguna tidak terburu-buru menjalankan mobilnya, sesaat setelah dihidupkan.
“Yang penting diperhatikan lagi adalah oli transmisi otomatis. Ini sangat penting, karena kekuatan transmisi otomatis ada di oli transmisi. Jangan sampai terlambat diganti, karena kalau transmisi matik rusak bisa berdampak ke komponen lain seperti bagian mesin. Hasinya, mobil bisa terganggu semuanya. Dan biaya perbaikannya akan jauh lebih mahal,” paparnya.
Perhatikan Oli Transmisi Matik
Di jaringan bengkel CARfix, Sigit menyarankan oli transmisi otomatis diganti setiap 40 ribu km dan kelipatannya (80 ribu km) terutama untuk mobil Astra Daihatsu Ayla (LCGC 5 penumpang).
“Kalau kita sering lupa mengganti olinya, transmisi otomatis mobil Anda akan problem. Memang mobil masih bisa melaju bila dipaksakan,” ucapnya.
Tapi kalau mobil dipaksakan melaju, problemnya bisa makin parah, karena performa transmisi otomatis menurun drastis. Gambarannya, saat pergantian gigi, transmisi tidak lancar alias tersendat, kondisinya seperti tersangkut. Dalam kondisi tertentu seperti kondisi jalan macet dan cuaca panas, biasanya transmisi otomatis memberikan sinyal-sinyal problem itu.
Menurut Sigit, berdasarkan pengalaman di jaringan bengkel CARfix, banyak konsumen mengganti rem mobil transmisi matiknya secara keseluruhan. Komponen rem memag harus menjadi perhatian utama di mobil transmisi otomatis. Apalagi di kota-kota besar, kampas rem sering diganti sebelum waktunya, karena komponen ini sering dipakai untuk menahan laju kendaraan. Berbeda dengan mobil transmisi manual.
“Di mobil transmisi otomatis, pemakaian rem memang semakin sering, karena kan tinhgfal main gas dan rem saja. Bahkan di Jakarta, biasanya kampas rem sudah ganti duluan sebelum waktunya,” pungkas dia.
