GETPOST.ID, Jakarta- PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (CIMB Niaga) berhasil meraih tiga penghargaan pada ajang Asian Banking and Finance Award 2020. Penghargaan tersebut yaitu Corporate and Investment Bank of the Year – Indonesia, Syndicated Loan of the Year – Indonesia, dan Project Infrastructure Finance Deal of the Year – Indonesia.
CIMB Niaga dinilai sebagai bank yang berhasil menghadapi tantangan bisnis dan berkinerja unggul dalam bidang Corporate & Investment Banking di Indonesia.
Asian Banking and Finance Award merupakan program penghargaan tahunan yang diberikan untuk mengapresiasi perbankan di kawasan Asia. Tahun ini penghargaan diberikan kepada lebih dari 120 bank di 30 negara dalam bidang Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, dan Corporate & Investment Banking. Adapun penilaian dilakukan berdasarkan pencapaian CIMB Niaga tahun 2019 khususnya di bidang pembiayaan investasi dan korporasi.
Presiden Direktur CIMB Niaga Tigor M. Siahaan mengatakan, CIMB Niaga merasa terhormat atas apresiasi yang diberikan oleh Asian Banking and Finance di tengah situasi ekonomi yang penuh tantangan saat ini. Pengakuan dari pihak independen ini merupakan wujud kepercayaan publik yang harus dijaga dan ditingkatkan ke depan.
“Terima kasih kepada seluruh nasabah dan mitra CIMB Niaga yang telah bekerjasama dalam menjalankan berbagai proyek pembiayaan investasi dan korporasi. Penghargaan ini menjadi dorongan bagi kami untuk terus berinovasi serta menghadirkan solusi pembiayaan yang lebih baik dan bersahabat dengan tetap mengedepankan prinsip kehati-hatian,” kata Tigor dalam siaran pers Senin 14 September 2020.
Tigor menjelaskan, penghargaan Corporate and Investment Bank of the Year – Indonesia dan Syndicated Loan of the Year – Indonesia tahun ini diraih CIMB Niaga untuk kedua kalinya setelah tahun lalu mendapatkan penghargaan serupa. Predikat Corporate and Investment Bank of the Year – Indonesia diberikan karena CIMB Niaga dinilai berhasil memberikan dampak positif kepada nasabah dan menavigasi pasar sindikasi yang menantang.
Sementara kategori kedua, Syndicated Loan of the Year – Indonesia, diberikan atas keberhasilan CIMB Niaga dalam mengelola fasilitas pinjaman sindikasi kepada salah satu perusahaan, serta mampu menegosiasikan struktur kredit yang tepat untuk mengakomodasi rencana pertumbuhan klien dan tetap memperhatikan mitigasi risiko kredit.
Adapun penghargaan ketiga yaitu Project Infrastructure Finance Deal of the Year – Indonesia merupakan pertama kali diraih. CIMB Niaga dinilai sukses sebagai Joint Mandated Lead Arranger dan Bookrunner dalam salah satu proyek infrastruktur pemerintah Dalam proyek ini, CIMB Niaga berhasil mengatur para pemberi pinjaman baru dan lama dengan solusi struktur kredit yang inovatif. Hal ini membuktikan, sebagai bank swasta nasional terbesar kedua di Indonesia, CIMB Niaga memiliki peran signifikan dalam mendukung Proyek Strategis Nasional dari Pemerintah.
“Ketiga penghargaan ini kami dedikasikan untuk para nasabah, termasuk nasabah korporasi CIMB Niaga atas kepercayaan dan kerja sama yang telah terjalin dengan baik selama ini.
