GETPOST.ID, Jakarta- Menteri Perdagangan Agus Suparmanto turut menyambut gembira ekspor perdana PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul untuk produk rempah-rempah. Keberhasilan ini tentunya menumbuhkan optimisme bahwa produk makanan dan minuman (mamin), khususnya rempah-rempah dapat terus mendorong kinerja ekspor nasional.

“Selalu ada peluang di tengah kesulitan. Salah satunya, peluang ekspor produk rempah-rempah Indonesia. Peluang inilah yang harus terus dimanfaatkan oleh para pelaku usaha dan peluang ini juga yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja perdagangan Indonesia di masa pandemi Covid-19,” ujar Mendag.

Pelepasan container pertama, sekaligus ekspor perdana PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul ke Arab Saudi berlangsung secara virtual hari ini, Senin 10 Agustus 2020.

Sementara itu, Direktur Jenderal Pengembangan Ekspor Nasional Kementerian Perdagangan Kasan dalam sambutannya mengungkapkan, produk jamu Indonesia terus berkembang dan semakin diakui dunia internasional. Kementerian Perdagangan optimistis keberhasilan ini dapat menjadi pendorong industri biofarmaka dan mamin untuk terus melakukan penetrasi ke pasar global di tengah pandemi Covid-19.

Menurut Kasan, ekspor perdana ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari penandatanganan kerja sama sama antara PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul dengan mitranya yaitu Mizanain dari Arab Saudi. Kesepakatan tersebut dicapai pada perhelatan Trade Expo Indonesia pada Oktober 2019 lalu.

“Kami bangga dengan pencapaian hari ini. Kementerian Perdagangan turut memfasilitasi kegiatan ekspor ini. Mulai dari penandatanganan kerja sama yang dilaksanakan di Trade Expo Indonesia 2019 hingga pelepasan kontainer perdana hari ini,” ujar Kasan.

Kasan juga sangat mengapresiasi ekspor hari ini, mengingat Arab Saudi telah menerapkan kebijakan peningkatan tarif bea masuk terhadap 500 jenis produk untuk meningkatkan penerimaan negara sebagai respons terhadap pandemi Covid-19. Kebijakan tersebut dinilai dapat memberikan dampak langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap perdagangan Indonesia ke Arab Saudi. Yang tidak terkena dampak langsung di antaranya adalah sektor produk biofarmaka dan mamin.

Menurut Kasan, pandemi Covid-19 telah berdampak pada seluruh aspek perdagangan, baik dari sisi pasokan maupun permintaan. Untuk itu, Kementerian Perdagangan bekerja sama dengan berbagai pihak, baik di dalam maupun di luar negeri guna mendorong kinerja ekspor agar terus meningkat.

Sejumlah langkah yang dilakukan Kementerian Perdagangan yaitu dengan penyederhanaan/pengurangan larangan dan pembatasan serta percepatan proses ekspor melalui National Logistics Ecosystem serta melakukan penyerhanaan dan percepatan pelayanan penerbitan surat keterangan asal (SKA) barang ekspor melalui penerapan affixed signature dan stamp.

Kementerian Perdagangan juga mengusulkan agar Lembaga Pembiayaan Ekspor Indonesia (LPEI) dapat memberikan stimulus berupa trade financing bagi eksportir terdampak Covid-19 dan mengalami kesulitan keuangan, serta melaksanakan program-program kerja untuk mendorong peningkatan ekspor nonmigas nasional.

Turut hadir dalam kegiatan ini, yaitu Direktur Pengawasan Obat Tradisional, Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Martin Suhendri, Konsul Jenderal RI di Jeddah Eko Hartono, Direktur Lembaga Pengkajian Pangan Obat-Obatan dan Kosmetika Majelis Ulama Indonesia Lukmanul Hakim, Kepala Balai Karantina Pertanian Kelas 1 Semarang Parlin Robert Sitanggang, serta Direktur PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Irwan Hidayat.

Berdasarkan data BPS yang diolah Kementerian Perdagangan, pada semester pertama 2020, ekspor produk biofarmaka Indonesia mencapai USD 4,2 juta atau naik 32,8 persen dibandingkan periode yang sama di tahun 2019 yang sebesar USD 3,17 juta. Pertumbuhan cukup signifikan ini merupakan hal yang menggembirakan di tengah penurunan daya beli masyarakat dunia.

Sementara itu, pada Januari—Juni 2020 ekspor Indonesia mencapai USD 76,4 miliar sedangkan impor tercatat sebesar USD 70,9 miliar. Pada Juni 2020, kinerja ekspor nonmigas Indonesia mulai bergerak positif dengan kenaikan 15,73 persen dibanding bulan sebelumnya. Di sisi lain, impor bahan baku pada periode tersebut juga naik sebesar 24,01 persen dibanding bulan sebelumnya. Hal ini menunjukkan aktivitas industri Indonesia mulai menggeliat.
